Our Journey
Manufacturing Roots (1995–2012)
Long before we became a consumer brand, we were makers.
Our manufacturing roots trace back to 1995 in Tiruppur, one of India’s most respected hosiery hubs. For nearly two decades, we stayed close to the machines—learning the language of yarns, the strength of a double stitch, and the importance of fabrics that truly breathe.
We didn’t study fashion in books.
We learned it on the production floor.
The Birth of the Brand (2013)
By 2013, the modern Indian wardrobe was changing. People no longer wanted disposable clothes; they wanted honest essentials—well-made pieces designed for everyday life.
That year, Lulu Apparels was established as a brand, bringing years of manufacturing experience closer to the modern Indian wardrobe. Our goal was simple: make better clothes, keep pricing fair, and remove unnecessary complexity between maker and wearer.
The Digital Chapter (Since 2017)
In 2017, Lulu Apparels officially began its online retail journey. From Tiruppur to homes across India, we found our community—people who valued comfort over noise.
Over the years, we’ve quietly refined what we call the Daily Uniform:
comfortable t-shirts, relaxed and oversized fits, and durable hoodies designed to feel like home.
