Shipping Policy – LuLu Apparels

This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, deliver, and track your orders placed on [www.luluapparels.com].
Our goal is to ensure fast, safe, and reliable delivery across India.

This policy complies with:

  • Information Technology Act, 2000
  • Indian courier and logistics standards

1. Delivery Coverage Across India

We deliver to over 26,000+ pincodes across India including:

  • Metros
  • Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities
  • Towns
  • Semi-urban and rural locations (subject to courier availability)

If your location is non-serviceable, our team will inform you after order placement and assist with alternatives.


2. Shipping Partners

We use trusted courier and logistics companies:

  • Delhivery
  • BlueDart
  • Ekart
  • DTDC
  • Xpressbees
  • India Post (for remote areas)

These partners are chosen based on:

  • Delivery speed
  • Reliability
  • Tracking accuracy
  • Service availability

3. Order Processing Time

Once your order is placed:

Order processing time: 1–2 business days

Processing includes:

  • Quality check
  • Printing (if made-to-order)
  • Packing
  • Handover to courier partner

Exceptions:

During festivals, mega sales, or unexpected spikes, processing may take 2–4 business days.


4. Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery time depends on your location.

Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities 3–6 business days
Semi-urban areas 5–8 business days
Rural/Remote areas 7–10 business days

Note: Delivery speed is controlled by the courier partner and may vary.


5. Shipping Charges

Type Charges
Prepaid orders Usually Free or depending on cart value
COD Orders COD fee (₹30–₹60) may apply
Remote area surcharge Rare, but may apply based on pincode

The actual shipping fee will be displayed at checkout (if applicable).


6. Cash on Delivery (COD) Shipping Rules

If COD is available in your location:

  • COD handling fee may apply
  • You must pay the exact amount at the time of delivery
  • Damaged or tampered packages must be refused immediately
  • Repeated COD refusals may lead to account restrictions

Some areas do not support COD due to courier limitations.


7. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

  • Tracking ID
  • Courier partner name
  • Tracking link (SMS/email/WhatsApp)

You can check your order status anytime using the tracking link.

Tracking Updates May Take:

8–24 hours after pickup, depending on courier scan entry.


8. Delays in Delivery

Delivery can be delayed due to:

  • Bad weather
  • Festivals
  • Courier operational issues
  • Traffic/jam situations
  • Remote location accessibility
  • Incorrect address provided by the customer
  • Natural disruptions (rain, strikes, etc.)

We are not responsible for courier delays, but we will assist you in tracking your order.


9. Packaging Quality

Your order is packed with care:

Tamper-proof courier bags

Quality-checked product

Barcode and security seal

Brand label & invoice included

If you receive an unsealed, damaged, or tampered package, please:

  • Refuse the delivery immediately
  • Contact us within 24 hours

10. Wrong, Missing, or Damaged Deliveries

If you receive:

  • Wrong item
  • Damaged product
  • Missing item
  • Empty box
  • Incorrect size sent by us

Contact us within 48 hours with photos/videos:

We will:

  • Investigate the issue
  • Arrange for replacement or refund as per our policy

11. Undelivered / RTO (Return to Origin)

Sometimes shipments return to us due to:

  • Incomplete/incorrect address
  • Unreachable customer
  • Phone switched off
  • Repeated delivery attempts failed
  • Refused delivery

If prepaid:

We will contact you to re-ship or refund (minus shipping charges).

If COD:

Order will be cancelled automatically.
Repeated COD RTO may lead to blocking COD option for your account.


12. Multiple Items Order

If you order multiple products:

  • They may be shipped together OR in separate packages
  • Tracking information will be shared for each shipment

13. International Shipping

Currently, LuLu Apparels ships only within India.
International shipping will be added soon.


14. Address Change Requests

You can request an address change before shipping by contacting support.

Once the parcel is shipped, address changes are not possible.


15. Delivery Attempt Rules

Couriers attempt delivery up to:

  • 2–3 times depending on the service provider

After that, the shipment is returned to us.


16. Non-Delivery Due to Customer Fault

Shipping fees may be charged again for re-delivery if:

  • Wrong address was entered
  • Door was locked
  • Customer unavailable
  • Phone unreachable
  • COD refusal

17. Shipment Lost / Stolen

If your order is lost in transit:

  • We will raise a ticket with the courier
  • Courier investigation may take 5–10 working days
  • Once confirmed lost → we issue refund or replacement
